The Shanghai Masters (currently sponsored by Rolex) is a professional tennis tournament played on
outdoor hard courts. It is currently part of the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 of the ATP. It is held
annually in October at the Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena in Shanghai, People's Republic of China.
Initiated in 2009, Nikolay Davydenko was the tournament’s first winner with Andy Murray being the
defending champion.

World No.2 Novak Djokovic's played one of his best matches for the season in the Shanghai Masters final at Peacock Stadium on Sunday to claim his third Masters Series title for the year. And that's not all, Novak also became the first player to have won 7 of the current 9 ATP Masters event in the calender.
