The SAP Open is a men's tennis tournament, which is held annually in San Jose, California. It was first held in 1889 and it is the second-oldest tennis tournament in the United States. It is an ATP World Tour 250 series event and played indoors on a hard surface at the HP Pavilion. Some illustrious winners of this tournament are Arthur Ashe, John McEnroe, Rod Laver, Jimmy Connors, Stefan Edberg, Ivan Lendl, and Pete Sampras. Milos Raonic won his second title of 2012 here at the SAP Open.

Raonic dismantles Haas; completes a trifecta of SAP Open titles Big serving Canadian Milos Raonic has become the first player in more than 50 years to triumph at the SAP Open for an astounding three times in a row after he completely dismantled former world no.2 Tommy Haas 6-4, 6-3 on Sunday. It was a fitting homage by the world no.13 to a tournament that will now not be hosted again at the Bay Area as it is being effectively moved to Rio de Janeiro from 2014 onwards.
