Played in the first week of January at the Khalifa International Tennis and Sports Complex in Doha, Qatar, this tournament is a tune-up to the season's first major, the Australian Open. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga is the defending champion after he beat fellow countryman Gael Monfils in the finals.
