The Malaysian Open is a professional tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It is currently
part of the ATP World Tour 250 series of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) World Tour. It is
held annually in at the Bukit Jalil Sports Complex in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The inaugural edition of
this tournament took place in 2009. Juan Monaco is the defending champion.

Angelique Kerber reaches Monterrey final

Pliskova wins maiden WTA singles title at Malaysian Open
Karolina Pliskova won her first WTA title when she defeated American opponent Bethanie Mattek Sands in the finals at the Malaysian Open on Sunday. Pliskova came back from on set down and a 40 minute delay to accomplish her memorable task.
