The French Open often referred to as Roland Garros. It is the premier clay court tennis tournament in the world and the second of the four annual Grand Slam tournaments. Roland Garros is the only Grand Slam held on clay and ends the spring clay court season. It is one of the largest events in tennis and by far the largest clay-court tournament. Rafael Nadal and Maria Sharapova are the defending champions. It is the most physically intense tournament because of the slow surface and the 5 set matches for Men’s.
