The Gerry Weber Open is a tennis tournament held in Halle, Germany. Held since 1993, the tournament is played on outdoor grass courts and is a part of the ATP World Tour 250 series on the ATP Tour. The Centre Court has 12,300 seats and a retractable roof which can be closed in 88 seconds so that tennis games can continue with a closed roof when it begins to rain. Tommy Haas delighted the home fans after defeating Roger Federer in the finals in 2012.

Fantastic Federer outplays Youzhny, lifts sixth Halle Title Roger Federer came back from a set down to overcome a resilient Mikhail Youzhny to lift the Gerry Weber Open Title for a sixth time. The Swiss was really calm throughout the match and did not let the first set loss come in his way as he broke the Russian twice in the next two sets to serve out the match in just over 2 hours.

Gritty Federer takes out Haas, progresses through to the Halle final Five time champion and last year's runner-up Roger Federer exacted revenge over home hero Tommy Haas as he secured his berth in the final of the 2013 Gerry Weber Open. The Swiss legend took an hour and 38 minutes to win against the 35 year old, as he fired 14 aces and mustered 80% points on his first serve.
