Wounded Del Potro trumps Benneteau to capture Rotterdam crown
Last year's runner-up Juan Martin Del Potro went a step better at Ahoy's Tennis Plaza in Rotterdam on Sunday as he denied Julien Benneteau of France in the final of the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament to lift his 14th ATP tour level title. The former Flushing Meadows winner conquered the world no.39 7-6 (7/2), 6-3 in an hour and 37 minutes despite suffering from a nostril problem during the closing stages of the contest.
