Wimbledon whites, Ravishing Royalty or Ancient History??

YYYY is it still necessary to wear whites at the Wimbledon. Does it bring in the proper disciplined form of the sport or does it make the sport more like a dinner table for some high level nose nudging corporates. Speaking of royalty and the niche habits, two things come strike the mind of the tennis lover, ones the strawberry cream desert and the other is all the players are seen in different colors of White. Pros should be a given of three or four colors to wear from which i feel would add some more charm and fun to the whole look of the Championships. JUST a Thought!!!
