It was good. It wasn't necessarily the best tennis, but tricky conditions out there. It was very windy on the court.
Things are going well. I'm getting to live my dream every day. I'm a hard-working woman.
Very tough match tonight. My serve worked well and I hope to continue like this. It's not my best shot, but I always work hard at improving it. If I am to have chances to win here one day, I need to serve well.
I just have to have my game plan like in previous matches, try to do what I do in practice and what I worked on. That means stay aggressive and move forward, and I definitely have a chance to keep winning.
Simona played really well. She was putting a lot of balls in the court and not making many mistakes. I wasn't playing my best tennis. I was just trying to do my best to get through, and I'm really happy I was able to. It was a tough one for me.
I've been in those situations before, played a lot of long matches in very difficult conditions, feeling very exhausted. Then your opponent takes the advantage. But I overcame it and that's what matters most to me.
She really swung and didn't give me much time to do anything out there. It's quite difficult to get a rhythm in the beginning, but I just hung in there. I knew it wasn't over. I knew I still had my chances.
