Lu Yen-hsun is Chinese tennis player who began playing at the age of eight. He is
popularly known in the tennis circuit as “Rendy”. The right-hander believes that he
would have still been studying had he not taken up tennis. His preferred surface
is the hard court, but most of his career highlights have come on grass. Lu's best
performance at a Grand Slam came at Wimbledon 2010 where he reached the
quarter finals, defeating Andy Roddick en route to it. He has also defeated Andy
Murray which happened at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. The Taiwanese has been
ranked as high as 33 in the world back in 2010.
