Yaroslava Shvedova is a Kazakhstani professional tennis player of Russian descent. She has achieved a
career-high ranking of No.29 as of 21 June 2010. She has won one WTA singles title, three ITF Women's
Circuit singles titles and six doubles titles, including the 2010 Wimbledon and US Open women's doubles
titles. She started tennis at the age of 6. She has made two Grand Slam singles quarterfinals, at the
2010 and the 2012 French Open. Shvedova is also one of only two players to record a Golden Set in the
professional era, the other being Bill Scanlon. In the 2012 Wimbledon Championships, she achieved a
Golden Set against Sara Errani.
