Defending champion Novak Djokovic overcame first set loss to beat dangerous Radek Stepanek of Czech Republic in four sets with 4-6, 6-2, 6-2, 6-2 scoreline to reach the pre-quarterfinal stage of 2012 Wimbledon.

The Czech looked all set to give a tough fight to the Serbian in the match as he took a opening set lead with a lone break of serve in the tenth game.

But Djokovic never looked panicked out there and stepped on the pedal from there. The Serbian broke Stepanek twice in the second set and leveled the match scores at 1-1.

The third and fourth set was a repeat of second set and Djokovic emerged victorious in the duel. He will next face countryman Victor Troicki, who defeated Juan Monaco 7-5, 7-5, 6-3.
