WADA asks ATP to probe Agassi's admittance to drug usage

The World Anti-Doping Agency has asked the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) to look into the Agassi's confession of taking crystal meth in 1997.
"Our task is to protect the clean athletes and to make sure that these sorts of things don't recur," said WADA Director General David Howman.
"If we didn't take any steps, somebody would be knocking on our door saying, 'Well, what are you doing about this?
Agassi has admitted in his soon-to-be released autobiography that he took the highly addictive drug with his former assistant and then lied to the ATP that his drink had been accidently spiked.
The ATP believed his version and dropped the case against him.
Howman has urged the ATP to look more closely into the situation and inform WADA of its findings.
