Reigning Champion Novak Djokovic seems to be back to his best as he continued to played some unbelievable tennis. His opponent Julien Benneteau looked helpless as the Serb attacked him from game one. Djokovic struck 41 winners and never faced a break point.
The first set was a pretty straight forward set for the man from Serbia. He got that break of serve in the sixth game of the set and having served first the World No.2 closed out the set 6-3. The reigning champion was on the attack from the first game itself. He got an early opprtunity in the very first game, but switched gears in the latter half of the set to close it out. Novak smashed 15 winners in the set.

The second set was even more one sided as the Serb took complete control of the set as he broke early. The Frenchman put in yet another listless display and the champion continued to press hard. The Serb then broke once more in the seventh game and held on to his serve easily to complete a 6-2 score line.
The third set started off on even terms but the inevitable happened as the Frenchman started to fade once more. After being level at 2 all, Benneteau played a couple of poor points that led to the break of serve. After that break of serve, the set was heading only one way as the Serb had looked immaculate on serve.
