After having surgery on his right hip, Germany's Tommy Hass could miss the tennis court for six months. Haas, had been operated on last Friday in Vail, Colorado. On the present state-of-affairs, Haas quoted on his website that he had no other alternative, as the pain was simply too great.
Currently, world number 18, Tommy Hass reached the semi-finals of the 2009 Wimbledon. He also shot up in the rankings and made it to number two in 2002, but since then his career has hit low due to injuries.
On further developments, Hass's agent Lars Schriewer said that "Tommy has been operated upon by the best doctor in this field. He is in the best of hands. Everything else remains to be seen."
