Seventh seed and an in-form Hungarian Agnes Szavay entered the second Sony Ericsson WTA Tour final in a row at the ECM Prague Open when she defeated local star Lucie Hradecka 6-2, 6-4 in 80 minutes of dominant tennis.
She meets home favourite Czech Barbora Zahlavova Strycova, who took out Swiss veteran Patty Schnyder handily with a 6-2, 6-0 scoreline. Schnyder finished runner up to Szavay in last week's Budapest final.
After the match, the Czech star was all praises for her Swiss opponent - "Patty plays a bit slow but clever tennis, so I had to be patient and it paid off."
This is a first meeting between Zahlavova Strycova and Szavay.
