Ninth seeded Ukrainian Sergiy Stakhovsky continued his superb run at the 2010 Pilot Pen Tennis championshps and took out rising Dutch star Thiemo DeBakker in straight sets to enter the finals of the ATP World Tour 250 event being held here in New Haven, Connecticut.

Stakhovsky opened the match on a usual note and held all his serves confidently. DeBakker, on the other hand, struggled in a couple of his service games and eventually faltered in the eighth game to give Stakhovsky an opportunity to close the opening set by 6 games to 3.
The second set did not change the story much as DeBakker faced stiff resistance from the Ukrainian player who tested him to limits and grabbed an elusive break in the seventh game to complete the 6-3, 6-4 win in one hour and 22 minutes of play.
He now meets the winner of the match between Serbian Viktor Troicki and Denis Istomin who take courts later today.
