Three time Grand slam champion Maria Sharapova added another title to her resume whe she beat unseeded Swede Sofia Arvidsson to clinch the 2010 Cellular South Cup, being played here in Memphis, USA.
"I feel great. I came here for matches - I got five and I got the win, so it was a good week," Sharapova said. "I served and returned well, two things that are very important indoors. I also did the right things against Sofia today. I worked hard after the Australian Open and little by little things are coming along."
This is Sharapova's 21st Sony Ericsson WTA Singles title. Her last title triumph came in Tokyo in October when she beat an injured Jelena Jankovic in the final. With a title here, Sharapova will rise to No.13 in the world when the rankings are released on Monday.
