Viktor Troicki did it for his country in style. The Serbian defeated the Frenchman Michael Llodra in straight sets with a 6-2 6-2 6-3 scoreline and earned the first-ever Davis Cup title for his country.
Serbia clinched 2010 Davis Cup title. Viktor Troicki emerged victorious in a crucial fifth rubber against Michael Llodra and helped Serbia clinch the 2010 Davis Cup title. A last minute replacement to Janko Tipsarevic, Troicki put behind the bad memories of the doubles rubber and played the best match of his life in registering a straight sets win over Frenchman Llodra.
Victor Troicki made quick progress in the match and earned the first set against Michael Llodra in Davis Cup final match in just 38 minutes. The Serbian mustered 32 points by collecting 71% points on his first serve and also hammered 10 winners – to make a good start to the match. Llodra committed 22 errors as compared to Troicki's 15, which made all the difference in the end.

The trend continued in the second-set also as Troicki earned the crucial break in the second and fourth game and maintain this lead till the end to go two sets up in the match. Troicki carried on with the same momentum and earned two crucial breaks in the third set to defeat the Frenchman in straight sets.
