Rafael Nadal congratulated Andy Murray on his US Open triumph and also advised the New World No.3 to savor the moment. Nadal also expressed his feelings that he was happy for Murray and added that the he deserved this honor.
This message was far more important to Murray than the many messages he got as it came from one of his closest rivals on tour. Murray expressed, “That meant a lot. I got lots of messages like that but when it comes from one of your rivals it means even more.”
Nadal also congratulated Murray through his facebook page. The former US Open champion stated, “Congrats to Andy to achieve his first Grand Slam. He and Nole has been played a great US Open final, both deserved to win.”
The Spaniard showed the positive attitude despite the fact that Murray overtook him to become the new World No.3. Nadal has not played professionally since losing to Lukas Rosol in the second round of the Wimbledon more than two months back. This victory is more special for Murray because he had lost four Major finals before this one.

Most of the men do get on it's true. 3/4 top 4 guys are good friends. But it makes the WTA fun that they hate each other!

You rarely see this much support on the WTA, not that I'm complaining.
