Novak Djokovic crushes Kubot in Rome
Novak Djokovic finished the first set in no time and then went on to master the second set. He ended up beating Lukasz Kubot in straight sets, 6-0, 6-3.

 

Novak Djokovic tore away at Lukasz Kubot like a torando.It was a clean sweep by Djokovic as he showed commendable presence of mind in the match. Kubot had his chances but found himself far from capitalizing on them. Djokovic kept his errors to minimum in the opening set. He kept 72% of his first serves in, hammered 8 winners and recorded a 100% break point conversion ratio to take the first set 6-0.

The Serbian finished the first set in no time and then went on to master the second set. Kubot used his serve and volley strategy to condition his game and earned two holds of serves, but the damage was already done. Djokovic obtained 77% of his first serve points and crafted 21 winners to win the match 6-0, 6-3.

Djokovic is playing better than ever. It will be difficult to expect from someone to beat him in the close future.
