World No.3 Rafael Nadal who is still struggling with an injury, and opted out of the upcoming US Open, will play an exhibition match in Madison Square Garden in March.
The 2010 US Open winner, is scheduled to play 2009 US Open champion Juan Martin Del Potro in the BNP Paribas Showdown at Madison Square Garden on March 4. Nadal is the undisputed king of clay, having won 7 Roland Garros titles.
The famous Arena will also showcase a match between World No.1 Victoria Azarenka and American favorite Serena Williams the same night.
Tickets go on sale Oct. 9.
Serena had beaten sister Venus back in 2009, while Nadal, Del Potro and Azarenka will be playing at the Arena for the first time.
