Eleven-time Grand Slam champion – Rafael Nadal has made a stunning comeback to the tennis circuit after a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Having already won a Masters event, and a couple of other titles the King of Clay is in full swing at the moment, training hard on his favourite surface. The eight-time Monte Carlo champion will defend his title next week at the first clay court Masters of the year.
The World No.5 was practising with Fedrico Zeballos and uploaded a picture of the two training together.
The Spaniard captioned the photo “One more day practicing with Federico Zeballos, from Bolivia!”
Rafa, especially mentioned Fedrico’s full name, and also the fact that he is from Bolivia to make sure that readers don’t confuse him with Horacio Zeballos, who stunned the former world number one in the final of the Chile Open in February.
Fedrico is yet to win a title in his career, in fact the Bolivian has only won one tour level match.
Nadal, who has looked in better shape than ever would be under the gun as he is defending a massive four clay court titles in the summer. Ranked at No.5 in the world, the Spaniard will find the going tougher than ever before, as he bids for a record setting ninth title in Monte Carlo. Nadal will be up again, especially if both Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer are also present at the event.
