Nadal: Congratulations on your 300 weeks Roger!
World No.4 and great rival to Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal has congratulated his great adversary on completing 300 weeks at the top of the ATP Rankings. Rafa tweeted saying Congratulations to Roger on his 300 weeks as a number 1

Out of action tennis superstar, Rafael Nadal certainly isn't the missing from action on various social networking platforms. Rafa congratulated his great rival Federer on his phenomenal achievement of making 300 weeks at the top.

Rafa tweeted with a short yet meaningful message saying, ' Congratulations to Roger on his 300 weeks as a number 1'.

But the Spaniard wasn't the only one thinking about Roger. Many messages of congratulations, came the way of the great champion, and are still pouring in as we speak.

Pete Sampras says ‘Being number one for 300 weeks it’s an incredible result. It really shows his constancy and the ability of staying at the top for so many years.’

Even the great Ivan Lendl, who is the coach of US Open champion Andy Murray said 'Being number 1 is a special result. Congratulations Roger on being there for the 300th time’.

Andy on the other hand was a lot more expressive ‘The most impressive thing is your constancy. I’m hoping to get to 31 with your passion and the same desire to compete at high level. It’s a very hard thing to do and yet he’s there, after 10 years. If you think about it, it’s incredible how he managed it doing such a physically challenging sport.’

Even the President of the ATP, Brad Drewett, had some words for Federer: ‘To have held the number 1 ranking for 300 weeks is a phenomenal achievement, simply unprecedented. The fact that Roger has being able to constantly rewrite the record books over such a long period of time is a credit to his hard work, dedication and talent. We are extremely fortunate to have such an incredible champion at the top of our sport.’

I think he's quite humble though, I don't think he would go around bragging, he's far too polite most of the time.

Yeah so gracious always. The WTA is far more, 'political'. Roger is the undisputed King for the time being, but not sure he would be as quick to acknowledge someone else though.

They're always so nice to one another, I like that with the men. I prefer when the women aren't.
