Tenth-ranked Mardy Fish of USA and women's World No. 16 Andrea Petkovic of Germany have pulled out of the upcoming French Open, starting on Monday.
Mardy Fish has not played a single competitive match for more than a month. And, the organizers said that Fish has decided to pull out of this tournament due to fatigue. On the other hand, German Petkovic has right ankle problem.
These contenders have been replaced by Canada's Frank Dancevic and Lesia Tsurenko of Ukraine.
Other players, who have pulled out of this tournament, are Pablo Cuevas of Uruguay and Spain's Pere Riba. In women’s Blaz Kavcic of Slovenia and Italy's Simone Bolelli have pulled out – due to injuries.
