Marcos Baghdatis of Cyprus takes on Belgian Steve Darcis in the second round match of 2012 Aegon International, Eastbourne on Wednesday.
Gunning for his fifth career title, the Cypriot has an ordinary 19-14 win-loss record this season. Baghdatis is a player who can never be underestimated as holds the capability to beat any of the top players if he gets into the groove. He was the runner-up at the 2006 Australian Open and a semi-finalist at the 2006 Wimbledon Championships. Consequently, he reached a career-high ATP ranking of no. 8 in August 2006.
