Kvitova - Rezai   6 - 3   4 - 6   6 - 2    Seventh-seeded Petra Kvitova dealt with mid-match jitters very well to win this encounter in three sets. With 17 sparkling winners and 2 breaks of serve, Rezai made Kvitova pay for the lack of movement around the court along with some weak serves. Kvitova was very inconsistent throughout the second set and that lead to her hitting 10 unforced errors and giving away some the second set. 4 - 5    Some terrific ball striking by the wild card entrant sees her take a 5-4 lead in the second set as she comes out to serve for it.
