World No 1 Novak Djokovic eases past Roger Federer to reach the final of World Tennis Championships. Djokovic came blazing down in the middle and rattled Federer with his huge ground-strokes and big serves. The Serbian will face winner of match to be played betweenn Rafael Nadal vs David Ferrer in the final.
Federer holds to love this time and opens his account in the second set. Djokovic will serve next for a place in the final.
Its ninth game in row for Djokovic and he needs one more game to win the match. Federer will serve to stay in the match and more importantly save a " bagel ".
Djokovic breaks Federer for another time in the match and this certainly looks to be the start of Federer's end in the match. Its 4-0 in favour of Djokovic
Its one-way traffic at the moment. Woes continue for the Swiss ace. Another love-service hold for the Serbian and now he is just three games away from winning this duel or rather a lop-sided duel - so far. Its 3-0, second-set.
Djokovic on surge! And, that's third successive break for the Serbian and he is completely in the driver's seat out there. No respite for Federer in the second-set, as he is looking edgy out there. The Swiss does not seem to have an answer to Djokovic's blistering forehand out there. Its 2-0, second-set.
Djokovic continues from where he left in the first-set and continues with tremendous moment. The Serbian easily holds on to his opening service game of the second-set. Its 1-0, second-set.
Another break of serve and Djokovic wins the first set. The Serbian kept the pressure on from the word "Go" and produced some blistering shots on both sides of the court to win the first-set in less than half an hour. The Serbian did not allow the Swiss to opt for counter-attack after making quick in-roads into the first-set and convincingly won it. Federer will have to win the second-set to take this battle into the final set.
A love-service hold after a break! The Serbian is looking in ominous touch here, as he finishes on the first-set win. The Serbian outruns Federer with a stunning forehand winner down the line and rest is done by Swiss's unforced error. Its 5-2, first set. Now Federer will serve to stay alive in the first-set.
Djokovic strikes! The World No. 1 draws the first-blood here. An ordinary service game from Federer and he pays the price. The Swiss commits a double-fault and then messes up with a cross-court forehand. Its 4-2, first set. The Serbian is two games away from going one set up in the match. Trying times for the Swiss Ace out there.
Two quick serves and then a tricky forehand volley winner near the net - Djokovic keeps his nose in front and maintains his slender lead in the first set. Its 3-2, first set.
Excellent court-coverage and precision-oriented shot-making from both the contenders - but in the end Federer emerges unscathed. Djokovic stuns the Swiss Ace with an exquisite cross-court backhand winner from an extreme corner of the court and Federer rushes forth to hit a serve and volley. Finally Djokovic fails to negotiate a forehand down the line and allows Federer to hold on. Its 2-2, first set.

Federer gifts away a point after committing an unforced error, but then makes up for that with two good serves - just like Djokovic and gets on board. Its 1-1, first set.
Djokovic gets on board! A bit of jittery start for the World No. 1, but he quickly finds his range and fires two good serves to hold on to his opening service game of the match.
