Top-seeded Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany will take on the defending champion Robin Haase of Netherlands in the final of the 2012 Bet-at-Home Cup on Saturday at Kitzbuehel. On Friday, Kohlschreiber advanced into his second ATP World Tour final of the season. Last month, he triumphed in Munich. If the German manages to win the title this time then he will crack into Top 20 for the first time in his career.
The German rallied from a set down to beat Filippo Volandri of Italy win a 6-7 (6), 6-2, 6-2 scoreline in the semifinals on Friday. In the final on Saturday, Kohlschreiber will take on Robin Haase, who defeated the fifth-seeded Martin Klizan of Slovakia in straight sets 6-3, 6-3. Kohlschriber struggled to find his rhythm in the first set, but then regrouped nicely at the right time to beat Volandri in three sets.
Kohlschreiber, gunning for his fifth career title, will be meeting Haase for the first time. Hasse won his only ATP World Tour title, here last year.
