Fourth seeded Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will take on eight seeded Argentine Juan Martin del Potroin the last quarterfinal of Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, an ATP 500 event being played in Dubai, UAE.

Del Potro has been in good form for last two weeks as he won the Marseille title last week by defeating Michael Llodra and also reached the final of Rotterdam Open prior to that. He officialy started the new season at Australian Open, where he could reach upto quarter-finals only. The Argentine has 10 ATP titles to his name and posseses 15-3 win loss record.

His opponent- Jo Wilfried Tsonga is playing is Dubai for second time and reached the second round last year. The Frenchman opened the new season with a title haul at the Qatar ExxonMobil Open in Doha, where he beat his compatriot Gael Monfils in the final. He then reached the pre-quarterfinals of the Australian Open. 

Last week at Marseille, he looked in brilliant form as he reached the semis where he lost to eventual champion Juan Martin del Potro in a thrilling contest.

Both players have met four times before and Del Potro leads 4-1 in head to head record.
