Juan Martin Del Potro is ranked number 10 in the world. On the other hand, Karol Beck is ranked 105 among ATP rankings.
Del Potro has had a consistent start this year as he managed to reach the quarterfinals at Sydney and the Australian Open where he lost to Roger Federer. He beat Michael Llodra in three tough sets in order to set a second round encounter against Beck. The third seeded Argentinean will try his best to earn a title here at Rotterdam.
Beck lost in the first round in Chennai this year and then lost in the qualifying round in Sydney before losing in the first round at the Australian Open. He then lost in the first round at Zagreb too. He beat Philipp Petzschner in two tight sets to set a second round clash against Del Potro. A tough match against the Argentinean will definitely boost his confidence.
Both the players have never played each other before and this is the first time that they will be playing each other. Del Potro can smack massive serves and can flatten forehands at lightening pace. Beck can play consistent forehands and can club them efficiently with tactical volleys. Del Potro should be able to win this one in two tight sets.
