Hottest young star of Men’s tennis – Jerzy Janowicz stunned the world last week when he played some superb tennis at the Paris Masters. Most experts believe that the Pole has a bright future ahead of him, and the Pole believes that he will not disappoint those he do believe in him.
The towering Pole who stands 6ft 8inch tall, was the talk of the tennis world last week as he beat Andy Murray, Janko Tipsarevic and Gilles Simon in three consecutive matches to reach the finals at the Paris Masters. The feat earned the Pole a rank of No.26 in the world already because of that performance.
"I have just become a top-30 player so I think I will not have to worry any more about money and I will have good opportunities to fight for an even better ranking,"Janowicz told the media after his Paris result. "I'm going to be seeded in Australia, that is a huge help. In the small ATP tournaments sometimes I will have a bye in the first round.
"This is a good opportunity to work even harder and to fight for everything. Maybe one day I will become a top-10 player in the world. At the beginning of this year my goal was to be in the top 100 and suddenly I am in the top 30."
Guy Forget – the director at the Paris Masters also spoke highly of the youngster. "Just before the second round, someone asked me a question about Janowicz and I hadn't seen him play at all. I didn't even know what he looked like so I thought I had to watch him a little bit. I watched him play and this lad is amazing."
