Ivanisevic steps in as Cilic's full-time coach

Earlier, Marin Cilic was coached on a full-time basis by Ivanisevica's former coach Bob Brett, but now Goran Ivanisevic will take up the job.

Ivanisevic introduced Marin Cilic to Bob Brett in 2004, when Cilic was 15-year old. Since then, their friendship has come a long way. Now, Ivanisevic will travel with Cilic to the  ATP World Tour Masters 1000 events in Miami and Madrid. 

Ivanisevic gave some valuable tips to Cilic during the PBZ Zagreb Indoors tournament that held in February. Earlier, Cilic was coached on a full-time basis by Bob Brett. 

Ivanisevic is looking forward to take up this exciting job, as he said, “It should be fun, Bob is still his coach but in Miami and Madrid I am going to be his replacement while he is not there. I will be like a mentor to Marin.” The pair have already worked together at Brett's academy in San Remo, Italy.
