Clay court genius and World No.6 - David Ferrer looks immaculate this French Open blasting his fellow countryman in just under two hours. The ocassion seemed to be too big for Marcel Granollers who is yet to take a set off Ferrer in 4 attempts now.
Ferrer took the first set 6-4 in 44 minutes. With 18 winners in this set, Ferrer took control with the only break as he served out the set in style. He served at a high 80% and this really effected the way Granollers took his service games.
Ferrer then took a 2 sets to 0 lead. This set also saw an aggressive Ferrer as he hit 12 winners and broke the Granollers serve twice in the set. He won an astouding 91% of his first serve points, indicating how effective it was.
