Not since 2003 has there been four different winners for four different Grand Slams. It was an incredibly open year, as the top players peaked at different instances of the season.
Novak Djokovic might have started the year with a bang, but it was Nadal who won a record breaking seventh Roland Garros title. At Wimbledon however, Roger Federer was crowned king once again, as he clinched his 17th Grand Slam title and with it recaptured the World No.1 ranking. Nevertheless, it was Andy Murray who had the last laugh, as he emerged victorious at Flushing Meadows clinching his first Grand Slam title.

Really hope all 4 are fully fit: Rafa still out and Federer says he needs a little time out.

It's really been that long...... well it's the right decision, and it makes tennis much more interesting.

This makes 2013 even more exciting. They all won on their favourite surfaces too.
