Top seeded Sara Errani of Italy extended her unbeaten run on clay to 15 matches and defeated Russian Elena Vesnina 7-5 6-4 in the Budapest Grand Prix final.
Errani has now won three clay titles in a row after successes in Acapulco and Barcelona this year.
"I didn't imagine to win any titles this year and now I have three," Errani said.
She added "Elena was playing very strong today - my congratulations to her for that. I had to run a lot and fight hard to keep up with her today."
Vesnina said later "I was playing very well at the beginning, but Sara is the kind of player who destroys your game and makes you feel uncomfortable on the court."
