Humility seems to be eluding the rising superstars of tennis with every passing year. After Bernard Tomic made some controversial statements about his senior players earlier in the year, now another youngster – Jerzy Janowicz has come out in criticism of Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer.
We first heard about the lanky Pole back in October last year when he played a sublime tournament at the Paris Masters. His fantastic performance saw him earning back to back wins over World No.3 Andy Murray and then former World No.6 Gilles Simon. Another reason for the immense support he got from the fans in Bercy, was his humble beginnings but the World No. 25 Seems to have suddenly lost track of what’s real and what isn’t.
When asked about who he idolized, Janowicz said he didn’t have any idols.
”I hate pretending. I’m always myself, I imitate no one, I don’t play. Emotions guide me. When I’m angry I show it. I don’t have idols. I used to like Sampras style and Safin’s attitude”, he said.
The Pole then continued, and this time took shots at Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic.
“Djokovic is a false one, he just likes to show off and play. Federer instead is full of himself, he has something not natural. It’s hard to feel him like integrant part of all of us.”

What an imature individual.... Shame on up and coming player. He has lots to learn about sportsmanship, respect and life in general. Used to respect his achievements of last year, but that is all gone down the drain.
