Novak Djokovic looked in pristine form as he virtually walked into round 3 here at the All England Club. Djokovic played some outstanding tennis as he downed American Ryan Harrison in three unchallenged sets winning 6-4,6-4,6-4.
The first set started off on even terms but the Serb started to grow as the set progressed. He broke the American in the fifth game and carried on from there. On his serve, the Harrison never got a sniff. Djokovic is ambling through this match. He's arrowed one ace and smashed 10 winners.
The second set saw both players hold there serve reasonably well up until the sixth game where, Djokovic serving second trailed 0-40 at one point, pulled back all the 3 break points. He had to then save 2 further break points to finally hold on to that game. As fortune would have it, that turned out to be the game of the set. It changed the momentum and put it in the Serb's favour. The World No.1 broke the American in the next game and then held on to his serve to take the set 6-4.
The third set saw Harrison putting forward some stern resistance once again. This time though the American did not get a single chance on the Djokovic serve as the Serb just gave a way two points on serve right until the last game of the set. We remained on serve till the ninth game, where the World No.1 moved up a couple of gears to break the American's serve. He then held on to close out the match. He smashed 10 winners in the set and had arrowed 3 aces too as he won the match and yet another set 6-4.
