In the last match at the Serbian Open 2012 on Wednesday, fourth seeded David Nalbandian of Argentina faces Slovenian qualifier Aljaz Bedene.
David Nalbandian, an ex Top-5, is ranked 50 in the world and has been in impressive form, with a second round showing at the Australian Open, Nalbandian had a shift of gears, combining back-to-back wins to reach the Last 8 at the Brazil Open and following it with a semi-final outing at the Copa Claro. His best performance by far was quarter-final stint at the BNP Paribas Open masters.
His opponent: Bedene is playing his third ATP World Tour match and has reached the second round for the second time.
This will be the first meeting between the two players and Nalbandian should win in straight sets.
