2010 U. S Open Champion Kim Clijsters of Belgium defeated World No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki in an exhibition match, being played here in Thailand.
Former World No. 1 Kim Clijsters defated top-ranked Caroline Wozniack with a 6-3, 4-6, 12-10 scoreline on Saturday in an exhibition warm-up duel, being played here in Thailand.
Clijsters brought her forehand on the forefront to earn quick points in the first set, but Wozniacki bounced very well in the second set to equalize the proceedings. Finally, the set was decided in a super tie-breaker, which was won by Clijsters.
Well, this exhibition match was played in Thailand to celebrate the New Year and honour King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who turns 84 in 2011.
