Champions of ATP-500 Tournaments from 2013

2013 season was primarily a Rafael Nadal-Novak Djokovic show - Especially the Grand Slams and the Masters-1000 tournaments were completely dominated by the Spanish-Serbian duo. And, if one includes the Glaswegian Andy Murray into this club then we have got the winners of all the Majors and the nine Masters Series events.

However, there was still one player who managed to stand out in front of their blistering ground-strokes - Tower of Tandil Juan Martin Del Potro who added four ATP-500 trophies to his burgeoning collection of titles in 2013. The former US Open champion was the only player to beat the holy quartet of Nadal, Djokovic, Murray and Roger Federer during the course of the season, rose to World No.5 in the rankings and became the first Argentine to win the Rotterdam crown since 1982.

Other than the man from South America, Nadal and Djokovic grabbed two ATP-500 titles while the top-ranked Italian Fabio Fognini, Japanese Kei Nishikori and resurgent Russian Mikhail Youzhny secured the rest of the three titles that were on offer in this category.
