Italian Sara Errani looked out of sorts in her second-round match against the Russian Anna Chakvetadze in the Slovenia Open and easily lost the match with a 1-6 2-6 scoreline. Now, Chakvetadze will face compatriot Vera Dushevina, who rallied to beat Virginie Razzano of France with a 4-6 7-5 6-2.

Currently, Chakvetadze is ranked no. 103 in the world. On the other hand, Switzerland's Stefanie Voegele will face seventh-seeded Polona Hercog of Slovenia in the third round, as she defeated 2006 champion Tamira Paszek 7-5 6-4 in her second round match.

In another match, Hercog defeated compatriot Katarina Srebotnik 6-4 6-7 (3) 6-3.
