Bob Bryan bowed down to Liezel Huber after his final match in the Mixed Doubles final. The American team fought past Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and Kveta Peschke in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 to clinch the title. It was the seventh mixed doubles title and the fourth US Open mixed doubles title for Bob and the second mixed doubles title for this team. Bob and Huber won the mixed doubles finals at Roland Garros in 2009.
Bryan and Huber will share the $300,000 they won for clinching the title. Bob will partner his brother Mike Bryan to take on Bopanna and Qureshi in the finals of the Mens Doubles. The Twins have won eight titles this year and will enter court for their ninth title. They have already won the US Open Mens doubles title twice and will be looking forward to win the third. They won back to back ATP titles at Toronto and Cincinnati this year and are in good form for their finals on the 12th day of the US Open
