Serbian Bojana Jovanovski takes on Valeria Solovieva of Russia for a place in the quarter-finals of Baku Cup.

Upcoming Serbian Bojana Jovanovski faces Russian Valeria Solovieva in the pre-quarterfinal match of Baku Cup.

The Serbian is just ranked inside top 100 and still awaits her first title haul at the WTA tour. She has 17-19 win loss record this year and has failed to reach beyond 2nd round in every tournament she played this year except a quarter-final appearance at Copenhagen.

Her opponent: Solovieva is a newcomer on the tour and is playing in her first WTA tour tournament.

This will be the first meeting between the two players and Jovanovski looks a favourite to win the clash.
