In the last quarter-final match at 2012 BMW Open, fifth seeded Bernard Tomic takes on second seeded Feliciano lopez of Spain.
Tomic started off the year well as he reached the semifinals of the season opening Brisbane International in Australia. He did reasonably well at the Australian Open reaching the round of 16 where he was defeated by Roger Federer. Since then however, he has been on a downward spiral and his best result came at Delray Beach where he was ousted by the ever-rising John Isner. His win/loss record this year stands at 14/8. The BMW Open presents him with the opportunity to make a name for himself as he comes in as the fifth seed in this particular tournament.
His opponet - Lopez is also making his debut in Munich this week and is having his best results of the year on clay, reaching the semi-finals of Houston and the quarters of Barcelona last week.
Both players met at Australian Open last year, where Tomic won 7-6(4), 7-6(3), 6-3.
TennisEarth Pick : Both players look to be in rich form and result can go in anybod's favour.
