His only struggle came in the pre-quarterfinals against John Isner, where despite a straight sets win, Murray was taken the distance.

Cilic, on the other hand, has taken out some of the strongest conteders for this year's title. After his swashbuckling five set win over Juan Martin Del Potro, the Croat upset seventh seed Andy Roddick in a marathon struggle.

All in all, this match is bound to produce some high quality tennis. On paper, Murray has a brighter chance of reaching his first ever Australian Open final.
