With a place in his eighth consecutive Grand Slam final, Roger Federer is most certainly in a class of his own. After a tearful runner-up finish in 2009 to Spaniard Rafael Nadal, Federer is all set to make this one a happy memory. With 15 major titles already under his belt, Federer will be gunning to add to his massive tally when the Australian Open final begins tomorrow on the famous Rod LaverAarena at Melbourne Park.

Cast your vote and tell us who you think will emerge victorious in Sunday's Men's final.

His opponent isn't unknown to him either, the man who is carrying a huge burden of British expectations on his shoulders, Andy Murray has made only his second Grand Slam final and interestingly, has tasted his first slam defeat at the hands of Federer himself, back in 2008. So what is it that Murray can do to stop Federer from claiming his 16th major crown? Lets take a look at the equations that have emerged before the final between these two Gladiators.

Why Murray should win - Many describe Murray to be one of the most gifted players of his generation. With a court coverage, that produces remarkable tennis to the sharp net play, Murray has it all. What seemed to lack in the Scot's game was his mental toughness on Grand occasions. Murray's disappointing exit from the yearend championship in London last year raised questions about his ability to perform at such a level in sport. But things changed for good, and the finest example of Murray's mental strength was showcased in his semifinal match against Marin Cilic. Superb footwork, coupled with brilliant shotmaking helped Murray hit some of the most unbelievable shots the sport had witnessed in a long time. By far, Murray's strongest ally is his new improved tenacity and the hunger to win. This may just be the time of crowning glory for Mr. Murray, it seems.

R128 beat Kevin Anderson 6-1, 6-1, 6-2
R64 beat Marc Gicquel 6-1, 6-4, 6-3
R32 beat Florent Serra 7-5, 6-1, 6-4
R16 beat John Isner 7-6(4), 6-3, 6-2
QF beat Rafael Nadal 6-3, 7-6(2), 3-0 ret.
SF beat Marin Cilic 3-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-2

Why Federer should win - I believe the shorter, much easier explanation would be to cite reasons why Federer should not win. Roger Federer is a Genius, an absolute maestro, who loves to do what he does best, win. Federer's capabilities are enormous and his hunger to win, unfathomable. Federer's artful demolition of Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the semifinals on Friday turned out to be a showcase of Swiss' sheer on-court brilliance. Federer overwhelmed Tsonga, the 2008 finalist, with his high-quality all-court game and registered one of the easiest victories in the draw. The Swiss' supremacy has been unchallenged so far (with the exception of the first round against Igor Andreev). There is only one factor that needs re-vision. Federer has been most bothered by a weak start in matches, and if Murray manages a scintillating start, he can definitely build the pressure over the Swiss, which in turn can produce unexpected results.

R128 beat Igor Andreev 4-6, 6-2, 7-6(2), 6-0
R64 beat Victor Hanescu 6-2, 6-3, 6-2
R32 beat Albert Montanes 6-3, 6-4, 6-4
R16 beat Lleyton Hewitt 6-2, 6-3, 6-4
QF beat Nikolay Davydenko 2-6, 6-3, 6-0, 7-5
SF beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-2, 6-3, 6-2
