Andy Roddick beats Andy Murray in the Miami Tennis Cup Exhibition
In a match between the two Andys, it was the American Andy Roddick who got the better of Andy Murray in the semifinals of the Miami Tennis Cup Exhibition.

In a match featuring a former US Open champion and the reigning US Open champion it was Andy Roddick who humbled World No.3 Andy Murray 6-2 6-3 in the semi-finals of the Miami Tennis Cup Exhibition Tournament. He faces Nicolas Almagro in the finals who beat American John Isner in straight sets 6-3, 6-4.

Roddick, who was playing to say farewell to the South Florida fans, said: “If we had gone three sets I would've had a full body cramp and it would've been awkward for all of you. Andy was nice to me tonight (Saturday).”

He further continued, “There's no comeback. I don't miss the travel at all. It’s nice coming here and seeing familiar faces. I still enjoy hitting tennis balls, but I haven't lost that part of it. I haven't lost any of the innocent parts of tennis. I just do it in front of less people.”

Murray added: “Andy hasn't hit that many balls the last few months. Maybe his timing was a little bit off, but he still hits the ball very well. It was only a few months ago he was making a decent run at the US Open.”
