Andy Murray is set to be the subject of a BBC Documentary that is scheduled to be released just before Wimbledon. The Scot has given permission to the BBC crew as the follow him and an insight into his private life and what he does while he is away from tennis. Murray is bidding to become the first Brit to win Wimbledon in 77 years.
A crew joined him in Miami recently where he is training. Murray owns an apartment in Miami and lives a part of the year there. His girlfriend Kim Sears was also available for the behind the scenes shoot and brought the couple’s terrier dogs Maggie and Rusty to the city for the first time.
The Scot is undergoing rigorous training with his coach Ivan Lendl as gets ready to play his third tournament of the year. Murray confirmed the details of the programme on his official site which said, The BBC were also out with us in Miami doing some filming for a documentary that’s coming out just before Wimbledon, which is pretty exciting, but more about that nearer the time.”
The Scot also expressed that he had been using his free time by watching basketball games. He said, “It was good being back in Miami after a short break at home in the UK. In between training sessions I managed to sneak in a few Miami Heat games, it’s great to see them doing so well.”
