World No. 3 Andy Murray of Great Britain will return to action in the first week of November to compete in Paris Masters. Reigning US Open champion Murray is seeded third at this ATP World Tour 1000 Event.
Murray returns to action after finishing runner-up to World No. 2 Novak Djokovic of Serbia at the ATP Masters 1000 Shanghai Event. Murray will enter this last ATP Masters event of the season and has a tremendous 53-13 win-loss record for the season so far.
Andy Murray will be making his seventh appearance in Paris Masters. He managed to reach quarterfinals in 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011. The Scot will lead a challenging quarter of the draw that also includes big guns Janko Tipsarevic, Juan Monaco and Marin Cilic. Other players in the same part of the draw are Paul-Henri Mathieu, Philipp Kohlschreiber, Jurgen Melzer and Alexandr Dolgopolov.
Marin Cilic could meet Murray in the round of sixteen. He could further set-up semi-final clash with the top-seeded and defending champion Roger Federer. Murray has a first-round bye in the tournament and he will face the winner of the match between Paul-Henri Mathieu or Spanish qualifier Roberto Bautista-Agut.
